Brave'n on the Raven's fork

Well From the Northwest, where there was great water to be had, I flew many hours all the way from the to fabled the east. Meeting up with my Demshitz hommies for the movie makings, I arrived to rain and cloudy weather so we decided to go get out there and fire it up..... Raven's fork at 18/19 inches baby!!!!

Loading desmhitz "green bitch" up to get off to the river on a rainy day in the S.E.

The put-in with a sik crew.

Anaconda rapid wit da pink helmet... I decided that I didn't need my gear, because it was not going to rain, but it did.

Me and my boy Joe Barkley.

Pat bombing the Headless slide, big hole!

Treats....

Layin'

all day....

The Raven's killed any thing I could have thought I would find out here on the east side.... We ran it fast at a high water level. Thanks to Pat, Joe, and Chan for leading us down the shitz...

The Money Drop

Now that I made it back to the land of pristine waters and stouts I was just dieing to get out there and run something big. With the rains falling and a run on the LW under my belt, I drove to the nearest drop I could think of. Rock creek falls, otherwise dubbed as the Money Drop by the EP boys. It was first D'd years ago by Trip and Lj when it was much larger. From loose unstable soil this waterfall has changed numerous times since that day. Yesterday I ran a really fast slide off a 45ish footer. The water was launching off the lip at an incredible rate so it was hard to decided how to run her... here be my line

The photos tell the story. That was my line, it was really fast and crazy... and I was stoked with the line and a smooth new stout. I landed soft and G'eed out, didn't flip, and sat ready to see my buddy from Cali send it.

Nor CAL Martin running the stout. This kid is a young, 20 year old, ripper from Arcata California who was up visiting for his spring break. He was with a killah crew that stayed at the Beaver Lodge for a few days and boated with us. Good to be back in the Hood area running all the goods of the gorge.

Montana Skiing Vid

You want to see a kayaker ski... This is a little helmet cam video of a good run at my local ski area Bridger Bowl. This was my second day out this season. I used to give her much harder, but I can't hurt my fragil bones before I get out on the river again.

Watch this....
I'm now driving to Hood river tomorrow to get on some goods.

Last Day in Chile

One last kayaking day in Chile for the year.... Middle Fuy what else is there to say man. This was my forth time down this canyon this year. Which means 4 runs off a perfect 40-50 footer. Good practice for whats to come soon. Same deal as last year when Rodrigo LJ and myself hucked meat on the 18th of March. This day was the 27th of Febuary I believe... now I'm in Santiago chilling out with some good boys and girls ready to return back to a economic depression and unemployment. No stoked to be making back to the old USA just in time for some melt off to start happening in the Hood river area... hint hint! thats where i'm heading.

enjoy the shots of Me and Kiwi Steve......

see everyone on the river this coming season.....
